IREL Trainee Exam pattern Computer Based Test (CBT)
Graduate Trainee (Finance), Graduate Trainee (HR), Junior Supervisor (Rajbhasha) & Personal Secretary:
- Paper-I (50 Marks): Subject Knowledge
- Paper-II (50 Marks): General Knowledge, Numerical ability, Reasoning ability and General English
Diploma Trainee (Technical, Mining / Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil)
- Paper-I (100 Marks): Section-A: Subject Knowledge would consist of questions for testing basic knowledge of General Engineering and Section-B: The knowledge of specific discipline.
- Paper-II (50 Marks): General Knowledge, Numerical ability, Reasoning ability and General English

Candidate who are qualified in the IREL Recruitment written exam are eligible to attend the Second Level Test i.e. Skill Test / Trade Test / Computer Proficiency Test as applicable & Psychometric Test.
