UKPSC APO 2021 Preliminary/ Main Examination Schema

Preliminary Examination

There will be 02 papers in prelims Exam with minimum marks of 100. The total number of questions for these objective types is 100 which are in General Knowledge. The time duration is 1 & half hours. The paper on GK will include the topics besides day to day happenings around and India & the world. The questions on General Sciences will cover elementary knowledge & understanding of science including matters of everyday observation & experience, basis laws of science, national parks, etc. & wildlife of Uttarakhand will also be included. The paper 02 objective type law paper covers 100 questions.

Main Examination

The main exam paper 01 will be cover on GK with the minimum marks of 100. The duration of exam is 03 hours. The topics will be included on the general sciences elementary knowledge & understanding of science including matters of everyday observation & experience, basis laws of science, Conventional & non-conventional energy resource, Human diseases source & types of diseases etc.

The paper 02 will be covering the General Hindi. The paper 03 will be consisting of Criminal law & procedure with police Act. The Maximum mark is 100. The duration of exam is 03 hours. The syllabus of this paper shall be divided in 03 parts. The 10 questions in all shall be set, out of which the first questions consisting of 05 sub questions to be selected from the entire syllabus & requiring short answer shall be mandatory. Each such short answer type questions shall carry 04 marks & will be answered in about 100 words. Of the remaining 09  questions, 03 questions from each part shall be set. The applicant shall be required to attempt at least 01 question from each 03 parts. All questions shall carry equal marks i.e., 20 marks each. In all 05 questions are to attempted. The personality test will be 50 marks
