The preliminary examination will be held on the major cites of India i.e., Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Shimla, Bangalore, Bhopal, Puducherry, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Patna, Tirupati, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow & Chandigarh etc.
The main examination will be held on the examination center which is Mumbai, Chennai, Shimla, Ranchi, Chandigarh, Delhi, Bangalore, Jammu, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Vijayawada, Raipur & Hyderabad etc.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021 syllabus

Objective Type Two papers in the Preliminary Exam will have multiple choice questions and a maximum of 400 marks. This exam will only be a screening test. Aspirants who are declared eligible to appear for the Civil Services Main Exam the marks obtained in the Civil Services Prelims Exam will not be counted for determining their final merit. Wrong answer will have a negative score. General Studies Paper-II of the Civil Services Prelim Exam will be a qualifying paper with a minimum qualifying mark of 33%. Questionnaires will be set in Hindi and English. Each applicant who participates in the exam is ineligible after six will be admitted 06 attempts at CSE.

Method to download UPSC Civil Services Prelims Admit Card 2021

Entrants are vital to visit the official website @ upsconline.nic.in. Open the website portal and download the admit card. After downloading the admit card applicants need to visit the examination centre before the noticed time with the admit card & self-attested copies of relevant documents/ certificate copies. The exam will be held on 10.10.2021. The asoirants MUST carry a Black Ball Point Pen as any answer registered apart from that pen would not be evaluated.
