The Institute will hold an online written test followed by a skill test for the above posts in the second week of December 2020. The MTS post is purely on temporary basis in its Headquarters, Kolkata initially for 6 months duration which may be extended or terminated earlier depending on availability of funds, performance of the candidate and the requirement of the Institute. Required Qualifications
- MTS: School Final or equivalent and National Trade Certificate (NTC)/ (2 years ITI passed out) or equivalent in relevant trade from a Government recognised Institute with relevant experience.
- Visiting Scientists: Ph.D. in the relevant field.

ISI MTS & Visisting Scientists Application Procedure
Eligible candidates should apply through online (e-mail). Applicants can download the application form @www.isical.ac.in. Before applying, candidates have to check their eligibility to apply for this ISI post by read the given notification (MTS (Electrician), MTS (Electrical Attendant) MTS (Operator-cum-Mechanic-LIFT) & Visiting Scientists) fully.
For MTS: Interested candidates are requested to apply online with the filled in application form which is attached herewith, along with relevant self-attested documents i.e. Age proof, Madhyamik certificate, ITI certificate, Work Experience certificate, License etc. All the documents should be scanned, and converted to ONE PDF file and send it to the email id: mtsemu@isical.ac.in on or before 23.11.2020 (up to 17:00 Hrs).
