MAFW recruitment 2022:
Officers of Central or State government or Union Territory shall be eligible to apply for post. The departmental officer in feeder category who is in direct link of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment of deputation. Similarly, deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. Candidates holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department or five service rendered after appointment on regular basis in post in parent cadre or department. - Specification of minimum labelling or seed certification standard, revision & updating of minimum seed certification standard and release of inter-state important variety. Amendment to seed act and seed rules.
- Technical guidance to certification agencies co-ordination of the functioning of certification agencies and various state seed testing laboratories.
- Work related to new policy of seed development, the main objective is to provide best planting material to Indian farmers to increase productivity, farm income and export earnings.
- Scrutinizing the seed export and import proposals of public and private seed sector.

Officer under central, state government, or union Territory or Public sector undertaking or Agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or Autonomous bodies or Statutory organization possessing the following service, educational qualification and experience are eligible to apply. - Master’s degree in agriculture/Agronomy/Plant Breeding and Genetics or seed technology or Agricultural Botany from recognized Universities or Board.
- Candidates must have 3 years’ Experience in the field of seed production or seed marketing or seed certification or seed Testing or seed quality control in government office
Deputy Commissioner:
- Master’s degree in agriculture/Agronomy/Plant Breeding and Genetics or seed technology or Agricultural Botany from recognized Universities or Board.
- Candidates must have 8 years’ Experience in the field of seed production or seed marketing or seed certification or seed Testing or seed quality control in government office
