For trained category teachers total no of vacancies allotted is 90. In that, vacancies allotted in the General category for various subjects is 42, for SC candidate vacancies allotted is 17, for OBC vacancies allotted for a candidate is 22 and for EWS category vacancies allotted is 9. Empowerment of persons with disability (Divyangjan) notification no.38-16/2020-DD-III dated 04th January 2021 will be followed. TGT Recruitment 2022 Educational Qualification:
- The Candidate should complete their degree from a recognized university/NCTE with equivalent or relevant subject with 50% of marks in aggregate.

Selection criteria for TGT recruitment 2022:
The Candidate selection will be selected based on the Total mark obtained in the Objective type test. The objective test will be conducted in a single/multi-shift session, Objective test for 150 marks both (Part A, Part B) Separately. Candidate has to qualify separately for Part A and Part B . Interview will not be conducted and the qualifying marks for (Part A and Part B) separately will be 40% for all candidate. Negative marks are applicable and a deduction of 0.25 marks is made for each wrong answer. Examination questions will be bilingual in English and Hindi except for language papers which would be in the concerned language only. The paper would be set in English and Punjabi language for that candidate who submitted their option for Punjabi medium at the time of form filling of application. A separate application is to be submitted for more than one post.
Salary Details:
- Willing contenders who apply for TGT vacancies can get fixed remuneration of 35,400 per month.
Application fees:
- Candidate for all category application fees is 1000.
- For SC candidates application fees are 500.
- Exceptional for payment of fees for all disability persons.

Selection Procedure:
- For all contenders who submitted their application form along with fees details will be issued admit card for written exam. After written exam answer key will be uploaded for submission of rejection from candidate.
- Candidate mark in written exam would be uploaded on website, if two candidates possess same mark in written exam then their B.Ed. mark will be taken as higher rank in merit even then if two candidates are at same rank, then the candidate older in age is taken as higher rank in merit.
- On the basis of mark in written exam the selected candidate merit list will be uploaded in website.
- Candidate will be called for document verification and to check eligibility conditions.
- Merit list for selection will be released after checking eligibility conditions and ICT skill training certificate.
