AMD Selection Process for Upper Division Clerk
- Level-1 (Objective)
- Level-2 (Descriptive)
AMD UDC Exam Pattern of Level 1
- Questions type: Objective type of multi-choice questions in the following proportions.
- General English- 25 questions
- General Knowledge- 25 questions
- General Intelligence and Reasoning- 25 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic)- 25 questions
- No. of questions: 100 questions
- Marks: 300 (3 marks for each correct answer)
- Negative Marks: Minus 1 mark for wrong answer
- Duration of Examination: 2 hrs
UDC Level-2 Exam Pattern (Written Examination)
Candidates who qualified in the UDC 1st level of examination will be called for UDC level 2 examination. The final selection will be based on Level-2 Descriptive Written Test only.
Questions type: Descriptive type of questions contains two parts

- Part A: English Language comprising Comprehension, Precis and English Grammar (50%) has to be written purely in English
- Part B: Descriptive test comprising Essay, Noting and Drafting (50%) has to be written purely either in English or in Hindi. If it is written in a combination of both English and Hindi, zero marks will be awarded.
