Cognizant has 4 types of rating systems:

Cognizant Appraisal Rating System

If you are for the appraisal cycle in the current year, and you joined on or before December 31st. There used to be YEA (Year End Appraisal) Documents and Goal Setting Documents. The procedure for upgrading them is as follows:

  • In this document, you must set your goals as discussed with your supervisor.
  • Your goals and accomplishments will be assessed during the mid-year review in July and August. This allows you to ensure that you are on the proper route.
  • The final examination will begin at the end of November or early December. First, employees will assess themselves based on the goals they establish and achieve. The paper will then be submitted for review by the supervisor.
