According to Gujarat Home Guard Department 2021 job openings notice, aspirants must have passed the Std-10 examination in any language & have undergone a medical examination as per the order of the Commander-in-Chief and according to the Commandant he is physically fit. The hopefuls who want to be recruited in the area will have to pass the examination in 2021 recruit parades at his own cost and at his own risk. The committee will conduct a physical examination of the applicants to be recruited during the recruitment fair. Each applicant must pass the recommended physical fitness test. For men candidates the name of the test is 1200 meter race. The passing standard is 05 minutes & Applicants who have passed the running examination are eligible to get 03 marks out of the passing marks. For women candidates the name of the test is 200 meter race. The Passing standard is 05 minutes 30 seconds & the passing score is 75 marks.

- Height: 12 cm
- Weight: 20 kg
- Chest: Normal should be 5 cm, chest must be able to inflate 02 cm

- Weight: 20 kg
- Chest: Must be at least 1/1 inch inflated.
