Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Agency (TNSDMA) is the nodal agency of Government of Tamil Nadu to manage various disasters. The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) is responsible for coordinating the response to disasters and to reduce risks. All measures for mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery are undertaken under the guidance and supervision of the authority. The SDMA approves the State Disaster Management Plan and District Disaster Management Plans in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the National Disaster Management Authority.
Required Qualifications:
- Must possess Post-Graduate in Agronomy Soil Science, Agricultural Extension in the relevant fields from any recognized university or institution.
Experience:
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least 25 years proven experience.
Age Limitation:
- Should be between 55 to 65 Years as on last date of application.
Hiring Process:
- Contractual employment of retired employees OR Deputation from Government Department / Agencies OR Outsourcing mode
