Himachal Pradesh (HP) constable Written Examination
The HP Police Constable exam consists of MCQs covering various topics. There are a total of 80 questions. The paper will be worth a total of 80 points. For the written test applicants will be given 60 minutes. The written examination for constables will be held in several districts and all the districts will be held on the same day. The written test lasts 80 marks and 60 minutes. There will be questions in English and Hindi, General Awareness, Mathematics and Science, Rational Ability. Except for Matriculation Mathematics, the written test will be at 10 + 2 level

HP Constable Physical Efficiency Test 2021 Schema
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is only eligible in nature. The marks will not be awarded to claimants based on their performance in PET. Applicants who fail to qualify in any event / parameter will be disqualified immediately & will bit participate in the subsequence event. Doping testing will be performed to detect drug intolerance at the onset of PET during recruitment.

HP Constable Physical Standard Test 2021 Schema
The basic list including the name of the applicant, the allotted registration numbers and the marks scored in the PST will be prepaid. The list will be published online and will be displayed on the notice board of the concerned district SP office and eligible applicants will be required to report for the written examination.
HP Constable Personality Test
Personality selection is the final test of a candidate’s personality and analytical skills administered by officials. Out of a total of 15 points, all eligible applicants will be awarded marks based on their results and answers. The members of the committee will award the criteria for the personality test in the following order to each applicant. In the Personality test applicants with NCC certificates will get 3 extra marks weightage for NCC (C) certificates and 2 extra marks for NCC (B) certificates. If the applicant has any of these credentials only the NCC (C) certificate will receive credit.
HP Constable Medical Examination
Hopefuls must undergo a medical examination following the personality test. Applicants are screened to see if they have any underlying diseases or if they are eligible for the job.
HP Constable Character Verification
For eligible applicants, this is the final step. Applicants will be called for a written test after a medical examination. The character of the candidates is evaluated by the district police involved in this round. If a nominee is convicted of a crime in court they will be excluded from consideration. If any applicants are subject to inquiries or trials the appointment may be terminated before the end investigation or trial is completed.
Examination Method for PET & PST test
The Height score up to a maximum of 05 marks. These marks will be calculated on the final eligibility of the contenders. The list of eligible hopefuls as per the Physical standard will be placed on the notice board at the District SB office immediately by the Eligibility Committee & qualified invited for the PET. Applicants who are qualified in PST must go through PET. The test will be conducted at all district headquarters. DCR will screen the applicants for the specified physical standard. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifying for physical standard. The scrutiny will be conducted at each district headquarters for all applicants who have successfully submitted the online application form and have successfully submitted fee as recommended. The date for the screening of the body quality will be announced separately for each district. This process will be illustrated in the video.
