TNPSC Group 2 Mains Exam Pattern 2022 | TNPSC Exam pattern PDF 2022

The TNPSC Group 2 Mains examination system consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper-II. Both papers will have different qualifying marks and examination periods.

The TNPSC Group 2 Mains Examination is very important as the marks obtained by the applicants in this examination are considered for the final examination.
This will have 2 papers: Paper I and Paper II.
Part A – It consists of 2 questions namely Tamil to English translation and English to Tamil translation.
Part B – Includes 10 questions on precision writing, comprehension, note development, and essay writing on ‘screw’ and letter writing.
Paper- I will be of 100 marks of 1 hour 30 minutes duration.
Paper-II will be 300 marks of 3 hours duration.
Answer sheets of candidates who do not get the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I will not be considered for the assessment of Paper-II.
A minimum of 102 and 90 marks are required to qualify for the Group 2 and Group 2A primary examinations respectively.
The TNPSC Group 2 exam is bilingual and available in both English and Tamil.
