As per the AFS Avadi notification, all candidates (except Helpers post) should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English. For Clerk post, applicants must possess Typing speed of at least 40 wpm in English, Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English and Hindi and Basic knowledge of computer applications, especially MS Office. Air Force School invites both Men and Women for Helpers Post. The following trade categories of Helpers such as, Ayah, Peon, Gardener and Sweeper. No educational qualifications are laid down for Helpers post.

Required Qualifications
- Principal: PG with B.Ed. from a college/ university recognised by Govt of India/ AICTE/ UGC/ National Council of Teachers Education along with (02 yrs experience).
- PGT: Master Degree/ B.E./ B.Tech/ M.Sc./ MCA / B.Sc/ BCA/ PG Diploma.
- TGT (Drawing): Degree/ Diploma in Fine Arts/ Drawing and Painting/ Sculpture/ Graphic Art OR M.A. in Drawing and Painting from Agra University, Agra.
- Clerk: Graduate from a Govt. recognized University and able to type at least 40 wpm in English.
- Lab Attendant: 10+2 with Science for the Labs of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and for Computer Lab 10+2 with Repair and Maintenance of Computer Hardware.
Age Limitation (as on 01 July 2021)
- Principal: 35-50 years.
- Clerk: 25-50 years.
- Helpers: 21-40 years.
- PGT, TGT & Lab Attendant: 21-50 years.
