According to the WBPCB notification, the selected candidates will be appointed at Haldia, Barrackpore, Durgapur, Ranigunj,Asansol, Howrah, Kolkataand Department of Environment, Air Quality Monitoring Cell (AQMS) at WBPCB HQ. All candidates must possess excellent experience in MS office and working experience in the field of Air Pollution or Environmental Pollution Control preferably for a period of more than 01/ 02 years.

About WBPCB Limited
The State Board is the regulatory authority for implementation of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and the Rules under these Acts. The primary objective of the Board is proper implementation of the provisions of different environmental legislation, notifications, orders and office memorandums published by the Government of India and the Government of West Bengal within the territorial jurisdiction of West Bengal, its ultimate goal is to provide a cleaner and greener environment for the people of this state, now and in the future.
Required Qualification
- Applicants should possess Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Civil/ Architecture & Planning/ Chemical Engineering from recognized College/ University.

- Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000/- + HRA per month
