CISF Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Examination Scheme 2022
The selection will be based on the 05 stage of Methods which are
- Stage-I: Checking of Service Records
- Stage – II: Written Examination
- Stage-III: Physical standard Test
- Stage – IV: Physical Efficiency Test
- Stage-I: Checking of Service Records
- Stage- V: Detailed Medical Examination

Stage-I: Checking of Service Records
- No marks are allotted.
- However it should be ensured that applicants must have “Good” or above (i.e., marks 04 & above for the last 05 years and unblemished service record till joining the post AS/ Exe (LDCE) on appointment
Stage – II: Written Examination pattern
- The written examination will be conducted through Computer based test (CBT)
- The questionnaire will be set in OMR based question paper.
- There shall be one objective question papers with multiple choices
- The written test will be consisting of total 200 scores
- The duration of the written examination will be 03 & half hours.
- Each candidate is required to obtain at least 45% marks in each area and a total of 50% marks.
- Claimants belonging to SC/ ST category will be given 5% marks relaxation
- The written test will be consist of total 04 papers/ subjects
- Each subject will be career total 50 marks
Stage-III: Physical standard Test pattern
- After relaxation in the standards, the candidates who are appointed in the lower rank on the basis of merit are ineligible to appear in the limited departmental competitive Exam (LDCE)
Stage – IV: Physical Efficiency Test pattern
- It will be qualifying nature consisting of the following 05 events. Initially PET should not have any scores
Male Candidates
- 6 kms race in 06 6 minutes 30 seconds
- 100 meter race in 16 seconds
- High Jump – 12 feet in 03 chances
- Long Jump – 12 feet in 03 chances
- Shot Out (16 Lbs) – 14.8 feet in 03 chances
Female candidates
- 800 meter race in 04 minutes
- 100 meter race in 18 seconds
- High Jump – 03 feet in 03 chances
- Long Jump – 09 feet in 03 chances
Stage- V: Detailed Medical Examination pattern
- Each applicants will be declared either “Fit” or “Unfit”, & no one will be categorized “Temporary unfit”.
Final Selection
| Name of candidates will be placed in the merit list subject to the obtaining minimum qualifying marks in each subject as well as the aggregate marks minimum 50% aggregate marks out of a total of 200 marks to General category i.e. 100 marks and candidate belonging to SC/ST category have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks i.e., 90 marks |
| The final selection of the applicants will be conducted according to the availability of vacancies and they will have to undergo a comprehensive medical examination subject to TIT notification or reconsider the medical examination |
