Exam scheme 2022 for Operator (Chemical) Trainee and Junior Fireman Grade-II

If the total marks (up to two decimals) obtained by two or more applicants in the online examination are the same, the following

  1. Percentage of marks in the qualifying examination would be considered for drawing up merit list.
  2. Highest percentage in SSC examination.
  3. Date of birth of the candidates will be considered for preparing merit list i.e. the candidate born earlier will be considered as senior in the merit list.

RCFL Vacancy 2022 Exam Pattern

  • The selection process for positions in Operator (Chemical) Trainee & Junior Fireman Grade II includes test & Trade test
  • The Medium of Test will be in Marathi, Rajbhasha (Hindi) and English.
  • The online test will have two parts, Discipline related and Aptitude related.
  • The duration of test will be ninety 90 minutes.
  • The total number of questions will be asked fro this test is 100
  • There will be negative marking for each wrong answer sleceted by the applicants
  • The level of the domain subject will be as applicable for each post.
  • Only the marks obtained in the Theory course and in-plant training will be considered.

Trade Test for Operator(Chemical) Trainee:

  • The Trade Test will consist of Practical Job Knowledge and handling of Technical equipment, the allocation of marks will be of 80 Marks and Safety awareness and Computer Knowledge the allocation of marks will be of 20 marks.
  • The total allocation of marks for Trade Test will be 100 marks.
  • The candidate has to secure minimum 60 marks (SC/ST candidates 55 marks) out of total 100 marks for qualifying Trade Test.

Trade Test/ Physical Endurance for the post of Junior Firemen Gr II (Men & Women)

  1. Ladder Drill
  2. Rope Climbing
  3. Running:
  4. Hose Running Drill
  5. Extinguisher Drill
  6. Rescue Drill
  7. Driving Test

Physical Standards:

  1. Height: Minimum 172 cms for men and minimum 162 cms for women.
  2. Weight: Minimum 50 Kg.
  3. Chest Measurement: Minimum 81 cm and 86 cm on expansion only for men and is not applicable for women.
  4. Physique: No physical disability, no keen-knock and no flat foot, no orthopaedic implantation inside the body.

Vision Parameters:

  1. Distance Vision: 6/6 without glasses.
  2. Colour Vision: Colour blindness / Night blindness will be a disqualification.
  3. Hearing Parameters: Normal (Relaxable upto 30 dB in speech frequency)
