Remedial and Special Term Extension students must enter their MID (M), Internal (I), and Viva (v) components only if they have unfinished business in those areas. The lines for the V* Components [External Practic I/Viva Component] listed in Table A above must be filled in. Examining of the V* Component will be done by professors approved by the institute. According to GTU regulations, only the Internal Examiner will receive compensation for performing the exclusion of the V* Component. Additionally, the Institute must submit the V Component Mark Sheet in hard copy form to the Diploma section of the University in a sealed envelope, and Remuneration Bill Covers and Files must be submitted immediately to the Account section of the University.
Students shouldn’t be brought in for any component evaluations at the institute. The faculties/institutes should use a variety of online resources to achieve this.

The GTU increased the passing grade from 35% to 40%, so students will now need to earn 28 rather than 23 marks on a 70-point exam. GTU officials claimed that the university’s academic council had approved the increased passing rate. The board of governors will now receive the resolution to be ratified.
