Required Qualification
Trained Assistant Professor on Primary School Classes (1 to 6)
- Candidates must have completed a +2 or Higher Secondary, a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma, a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- A 2-year Special Education Diploma, or have passed or be enrolled in the final year of a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma with at least 45% of the available marks OR
- A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with a specialization in special education and a graduation grade point average of 50% OR
- Master’s degree in the relevant field with a 55% average and a three-year bed-medical course.
- JTET Paper 1 Qualified
Graduate Trained Assistant Professors in Upper Primary (Classes 6 to 8)
- Passed +2 or Higher Secondary Graduation or equivalent, and a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma with 50% marks in B.Ed (or) Senior Secondary and 4 years of B.A., B.Sc. Ed., B.A. Ed., or a two-year B.Ed (Special)
