SLPRB Assam Police SI Recruitment Exam Pattern 2021: State Level Police Recruitment Board Assam Guwahati has newly published a recruitment notification for the Sub-Inspector of Police (Unarmed Branch) post. SLPRB Sub Inspector Exam Pattern PDF in Assam
- As per the SLPRB Assam SI new recruitment notification (SLPRB/REC/SI (UB)/2021/463/124 dated on 07.12.2021), the selection will be based on a written examination, PST, PET and Oral/ Viva Voce.
Assam SLPRB SI Recruitment Exam Pattern
- The question paper of Written Exam will be in the Assamese/ Bodo/ Bengali/ English languages.
- Written Exam: 100 marks
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 40 marks
- Extra-curricular Activities: 30 marks
- Oral/Viva Voce: 05 marks
- Total: 175 marks
Assam Police SI Written Exam Pattern
- The written test will be of 100 marks (OMR Based)
- No. Of questions: 100
- Each question will be of 1 (one) mark
- There will be negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer.
- Duration of the test: 3 (three) hours
- Candidates are advised to use black or dark blue ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet.

Exam Pattern for Assam Police Physical Efficiency Test SI post
- The Physical Efficiency Test contains 40 Marks. It will have 2 (two) events.
- 1600 meters race for male candidates and 800 meters race for female candidates.
- Long Jump- for Male & Transgender 335 cm (minimum) and for female 244 cm (minimum), 3 chances (longest valid jump will be considered).
SLPRB Assam PST pattern for Male & Transgender candidates:
- Race: candidates who qualify in the PST will have to appear in 1600 meters race to be
completed within 450 seconds. Maximum qualifying time 450 seconds.
- Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest
valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
PST SI Exam Pattern for Female Candidates:
- Race : Those who qualify in the PST will have to appear in 800 meters race to be
completed within 240 seconds. Maximum qualifying time -240 seconds.
- Long Jump : Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest
valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
Extra Curricular Activities Exam patter for Assam Police SI posts
- National Cadet Corps (NCC): maximum 05 Marks
- Home Guards: maximum 05 Marks
- Sports: maximum 10 Marks
- Extra Academic Achievements: maximum 10 Marks
Exam pattern for Oral / Viva Voce:
Aspirants who have qualified in the written examination, PET/ PST and other selection process are eligible to attend the Oral/ Viva voce selection process. The oral test contains maximum of 05 marks.
