How to calculate GPA
GPA is calculated as the ratio of the sum of the products of the number of credits in courses enrolled and the grade points earned in those courses to the sum of the number of credits in the semester. To get the latest Private Jobs, click here
GPA = ∑ (𝐶𝑖 ∗ 𝐺𝑃i) / ∑ 𝐶𝑖
- 𝐶𝑖 is the number of credits assigned to the course
- 𝐺𝑃i is the grade obtained for each course
- n is the number of all courses successfully cleared
For Example: If a semester consists of 4 subjects with 3 credits each, a student gets 9, 8, 8, 9, and 7 in these subjects.
So, the GPA = [(9*3 + 8*3 + 8*3 + 9*3 + 7*3)] / 15 = 8.5 GPA
